Growing up DJ Burns always had a huge interest in music and the art of DJing. Not having the resources to start DJing at a young age to kick off a career, he would collect music and study other DJs until he moved to college in 2006. This is when DJ Burns was able to start his career playing at all types of college parties and events. With the support of his fraternity, Nu Alpha Kappa (NAK), he was able to network and grow his career to play at different cities throughout California.

Now DJ Burns has been able to reach thousands of people and DJ on the same stage as celebrities and artist, ranging from Kid Ink, T-Pain, Valentino Khan, Mike Epps, Ying Yang Twins, 112, and many others. Every time DJ Burns is in control of the decks he strives to bring a unique experience to his audience, and does not stick to one genre, creating a genre bending adventure for the crowd. You can always distinguish a DJ Burns set as he will create and produce his own versions of songs and original production. “Seeing how I can help people enjoy life, dance, and have a great time because of my performance is what keeps me going.” -DJ Burns.

As a member of the central valley’s number one DJ collective, Teezzy Radio, DJ Burns helps support the community and represent his city. Dominating the local scene DJ Burns and Teezzy Radio are the go-to group for the local breweries parties, special events, Fresno’s baseball team The Grizzly’s, central valley’s biggest music festival Grizzlyfest, and the club scene.

The passion DJ Burns has for music and DJing is stronger than ever, as he is focused on spreading good vibes through music all over the world. It would not be a surprise to catch him at the next biggest festival, club or event around the world.
